CREATING THE ROYAL COINS NECKLACE
- Cut 20 gauge wire into seven 2” pieces. Using one piece of wire make a simple loop. Slide on one 8mm 5052 in Amethyst, one 12mm baroque pearl, and one 8mm 5052 in Amethyst, make a simple loop. Repeat 6 more times. Set aside.
- Using one link made in Step 1 attach to one end of 1” Hammertone Disk. Using a second link made in Step 1 attach to opposite side of Hammertone Disk. Continue making these links until you have used all the links and Hammertone disks. Set aside.
- Cut beading wire into two 20” pieces. Using one piece tape the end and slide on one 4mm bicone, 70 6mm Scarabaeus Green pearls and one bicone and tape the other end. Set aside.
- Using second piece of beading wire tape one end, then slide on one bicone, five 6mm Scarabaeus Green pearls, one bicone, one amethyst mini bead, one bicone, three 8mm Iridescent Purple Pearls, one bicone, one bead aligner, one BeCharmed bead, one bead aligner, one bicone, three 8mm Iridescent Purple Pearls, one bicone, one amethyst mini bead, one bicone. Repeat this pattern 2 more times ending with one bicone. Tape other end and set aside.
- Take the two strands made in Steps 3 & 4 and slide them both through one 12mm Baroque Pearl. Then slide on one crimp bead. Take this and crimp the two strands directly to the end link in the set of links created in Step 2.
- Now gently twist (braid) the two beaded strands together and then slide them both through one 12mm Baroque Pearl. Then slide on one crimp bead. Take this and crimp to the opposite side of links.
