Creating the Mini Crystal Necklace:
Swarovski mini beads in Crystal AB, give the metal spacer beads and black leather cord an elegant, yet edgy vibe.
Crystals:
- 20 Crystal AB-Mini Beads (8x6mm) 5051
- 5 Crystal AB-Mini Beads (8mm) 5052
- 10 Crystal AB-Mini Beads (8mm) 5053
Supplies:
- 40″ 1mm black leather cord
- 11 4×2 Deco Barrel TierraCast® 94-5803-12
Tools:
- Flat Nose Pliers
- Wire Cutters or Scissors
Instructions:
Step 1: String the following beads onto the 1mm piece of leather. One 4×2 Deco Barrel, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5051 8x6mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5053 8mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5051 8x6mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5052 8mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5051 8x6mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5053 8mm, 1 Swarovski Bead art. 5051 8x6mm and one 4×2 Deco Barrel.
Step 2: Measure approximately 6” from the end of the leather cord and crimp the first Deco Barrel bead. Slide all of the other beads together and crimp the last Deco Barrel bead.
Step 3: Measure 3 inches down from the last Deco Barrel Bead and repeat step 1 and Step 2 four more times.
Step 4: Use the last Deco Barrel bead to crimp the two cord ends together, making sure the cords are side by side and not overlapping each other. Also make sure that the beaded stations on both sides of the necklace are aligned. Trim excess cord from ends of Deco Barrel bead.
Tip: Wrap this Mini Crystal Necklace around twice for a double strand necklace or wrap around your wrist for a layered bracelet look!
