Costa Rica!

Starting as underwater volcanoes which then surfaced over thousands and thousands of years, Costa Rica has evolved into one of the largest, lush ecosystems in the world. Imagine yourself rappelling down a waterfall, relaxing in hot springs, hiking along the rolling fog of the cloud forest, or exploring the pink sandy beaches of the Guanacaste coastline. These adventures paired with rich tropical flora and fauna and soft sunsets over crystal blue water were the incredible inspiration for these pieces –and my version of ‘paradise’.

Beads – 5040 8mm Aquamarine (x2)
Beads – 5328 6mm Peridot (x2)
Beads – 5000 4mm Rose Peach (x2)
Crystal Pearls – 5810 2mm Dreamy Blue (x10)
Crystal Pearls – 5810 3mm Dreamy Blue (x10)

Supplies

2 – Ear Wires
2 – Scallop Beads
8 – 1” head pins
6 – 2” eye pins

Instructions

1. 1. Using one head pin slide on one 2mm pearl, one 3mm pearl, and one 4mm pearl and make a simple loop. Repeat 3 more times and set aside.

   2. Using one head pin slide on one 2mm pearl, and one 3mm pearl and make a simple loop. Repeat 1 more time and set aside.

   3. To make the earring take one head pin and slide on one 2mm pearl, one 4mm 5000 Rose Peach bead, and one 2mm pearl. Make a simple loop. Attach one drop made in Step 2. Now attach this to one eye pin. Slide on one 3mm pearl, one 6mm 5328 Peridot bead, and one 3mm pearl. Make a simple loop. Attach one drop made in Step 1. Now attach this to one eye pin. Slide on one 4mm pearl, one 8mm 5040 Lt Turquoise bead, one 4mm pearl and make a simple loop. Attach one drop made in Step 1. Now attach this to one eye pin. Slide on one Scallop Bead and make a simple loop to close. Attach one ear wire.

   4. Repeat Step 3 to make the second earring.
